I think you need to get here to feel like this

I don’t really consider myself an “Adult” or “Grown-up”, even though for all intents and purposes I am pretty much an Adult who has Grown Up.

Having said that, today I experienced a really grown-up moment.

It’s hard to describe the feeling of watching a child fail at something and not helping them because they have to learn. The only real way I could describe it was that it made me feel like an adult.

I now hold the torch and must light the fires.
